So do you guys think Apple will give and kind of preference to those using Safari to pre order the new iPhone or will those of us on Firefox or Chrome be treated the same?

I use Firefox but I think I will use Safari to do my upgrade just in case.

I love this community. We're so hardcore we're discussing the best browser to use. I'd say go with Firefox, seems the most likely to have zero compatibility issues. IE 2nd, Mozilla 3rd.

    Nerd!

Ok so I actually myself loaded Apple.com into Safari & AT&T into Firefox on purpose. :)

I would say though, on AT&T or any other carrier, use Firefox. Safari does seem to have "glitches" with sites with log ins occasionally.

At first I started laughing to myself....

Then I thought.... If steve jobs were around he might actually give priority to Safari. LOL

I have one up on each monitor (chrome, FF,IE), and I have my MBA and my iMac using safari.

I've done it this way for all online pre orders and IE always wins. but that's really just luck..

It really doesn't matter...it's not like the iPhones are going to sell out within an hour or anything. You don't have to be absolutely first, you'll still get it at the same time lol

I reformatted my entire machine to make sure I'd have no problems during the pre order.

I'm debating whether to hold my mouse in my right or my left hand, trying to time myself to see whats faster now.
