I have a neighbor who has 3 different wacom tablets for sale;

1. Wacom intuos 3; 6 x 11 inch

2. Wacom intuos 3; 9 x 12 inch

3. Wacom itunos 4 medium size

I have never used a graphics tablet, so I am not sure which one to get, they are offering a good deal on them, & are waiting to hear from me, I know these will probably sell quickly so I need to know, & would like any advice from members who have experience with these tablets.

I am currently between two computers, the one at work is a windows PC XP home service pack 2 with a 17 inch 4:3 ratio monitor,

& at home I am on a macbook pro with a 20 inch widescreen apple cinema display, running snowleopard 10.6.8, with the possibility of Lion in the future.

I am coming from analog sketching, of which most of my sketchbooks ranged from 11 x 14 inch, 9 x 12 inch, & 14 x 17 inches.

I also kept a smaller 5 x 7 inch portable sketchbook too.

I'm not an artist. But perhaps if your unsure or in a rush it may be prudent to get the cheapest one, or the one which you know you can sell yourself if it doesn't work for you.

The 6 x 11 is 180.00

The 9 x 12 is 260.00

the wacom 4 medium is 300.00.
