Trump is a p***y
Well ... if you thought he couldn't get any pettier ... just wait for him to break previous records.
Trump is such an adult. So much respect.
Key quotes from the New York Times:
This is how a "cult of personality" develops. Along with this:
I'm not at all sure that American democracy can survive another five years of Donald Trump.
Trump contends he "knew nothing about" the order to hide the USS John McCain. But that misses the point. His White House certainly did. And Trump personally bears responsibility for the tone and culture of the White House. And obviously the message in the White House is this: The top guy is an insecure and intolerant jerk.
The US military has some serious work to do in educating its personnel on the traditions and principals that keep it a strictly non-partisan apparatus. Officers and enlisted troops swear an oath of allegiance to the United States. Not the President, and certainly not to one individual.
No way to make this spin good:
Either Trump knew it and he is moron (no news here) or he "hired" the best people who somehow though it needed to be done and it could go unnoticed.
Well or it was the deepstate just trying to make MrStableGenius look bad
Trump didn't deny it either.
What a loser PoS this "president is. His presidential museum should be a dingy rest stop with Trump-branded urinals.
I think this episode is particularly damning of Trump. It reveals that all of the crass pettiness is not an act, that his staff actually believes that he would be upset to see a positive reference to John McCain. If you tried to write a novel with a fictional president as heinous as Trump, it would probably be rejected by any competent editor as too far-fetched, on the theory than no one that vile could ever win an election.
vets vote dem in 2020.
rump is not just petty. its pettiness to the extent of being fully psychotic.
Psychosis is an abnormal condition of the mind.
Symptoms may include false beliefs and difficulties carrying out daily activities.
from post 4
And you believe that? From the person who lies countless times?
1 were is the source of the article?
2. do you think trump even knew there was a ship named after war mongering McCain?
3. A Navy official also said the crew of the USS John McCain was released from duty due to the holiday weekend, along with sailors from another ship. <<<<<<<<<<< I freaking bet they loved that
IF Trump knew about 2 yes I believe he would be petty and stupid enough to do it, but I am guessing his staff knows his feelings well enough to do things ahead of time to appease him.
If he knew about it - it's worse. However, the fact that his staff THINKS that Trump would take issue with it is extremely disconcerting.
JSM is dead, let the war monger be, I don't know why trump continues to be this petty.
That is not the point.
Someone thought actions had to be taken, so either it's more incompetence in Trump's staff OR they are right about taking that actions (to prevent another meltdown).
Trump gets triggered every time he sees McCain’s name. The man is dead and he still can’t stop thinking of him.
Petty, shallow, con artist, bankrupt, mentally touched, but a real winner in the starry eyes of the GOP.
maybe research the story instead of eating up the Fake MSM and their TDS.
This didn't work in 2016 and will not in 2020 either.
The story came came from that great bastion of liberal news: the Wall Street Journal.
who cares where it came from... this is the kind of BS the American people without TDS are sick of.
If you have evidence that it is BS, please provide it.
Is the WSJ fake MSM now too?
It's not even John McCain III's ship. I don't see why the White House thought he'd have a fit about it. Even he said he didn't know about the ship.
I think his aides thought it might trigger Trump into another twitter tirade.
dead ghosts are everywhere
trump is delusional.
