President Obama is so politically correct and paranoid about linking terrorists and Muslims that when French President François Hollande used the phrase “Islamist terrorism” at a meeting in Washington, White House officials posted their official press video with audio of the words cut out completely.

After they were busted, the White House uploaded an another version of the speech and blamed "technical issues" for deleting those two words.

    "Technical issues?"

I suppose it is offensive to Muslims to link them because terrorists are not true Muslims.

Can you prove that the terrorists are not true Muslims? The prophet of their religion was a warmonger who allowed the beheading of 900+ Jews in a single encounter under his rule. Perhaps the moderates are the ones who got it wrong?

    What does this mean?

ISIS is following a very strict Islamic doctrine, and certainly would qualify as being "true Muslims" under any interpretation in the Quran.

Do the majority of Muslims follow the strict teachings of the Quran? Thankfully, not yet.

Conversion, subjugation or death are the options ISIS and the Quran give for non-believers.

Since moderate Muslims are actually seen as apostates and not ignorant non-believers, their only option is death... They see all Shiite Muslims as apostates who are marked for death.

This is not Al-Qaeda or the Muslim Brotherhood. ISIS sees themselves as an integral component of the apocalypse.

They reject peace as a matter of principle.

They are truly a 7th century religious order, fundamentally Islamic, with one goal - and it's not political, or economic in nature.

Key to their principles is takfiri doctrine, which requires genocide and mass murder to purify the world.

Not understanding their deep religious conviction and the basis of their doctrine and faith will be the downfall of the West. They are indeed 100% Muslim.

It's amusing when non-Muslims like Barack Obama Hillary Clinton decide who is and who isn't a real Muslim.

It's amusing when non-Muslims decide that violence is representative of the Islamic faith. Most Muslims condemn such appalling acts of terrorism, yet the West make the mistake of tarring them all with the same brush. It's this action that extremists use to their advantage through propaganda.

Having lived in a Muslim country and discussed these issues with my Muslim friends many times, I assure you I have a very solid grasp of the issues and their beliefs.

What are the moderate Muslims waiting for? They are waiting for the West, and specifically the US, to take the lead on eradicating ISIS from the face of the planet.

Equating ISIS and al-Qaida, or even worse, calling them the JV team and writing them off as a non-threat as Obama has done, will only result in a nuclear bomb going off in Haifa harbor.

That's about as meaningful as saying the majority of Americans are liberal or conservative. Far too many Muslims seem okay with it, and that's scary.

"A 2007 Pew Research Center study of several nations throughout the Muslim world showed that opposition to suicide bombing in the Muslim world is increasing, with a majority of Muslims surveyed in 10 out of the 16 of the countries responding that suicide bombings and other violence against civilians is "never" justified, though an average of 38% believe it is justified at least rarely. Opposition to Hamas was the majority opinion in only 4 out of the 16 countries surveyed, as was opposition to Hezbollah.[6] The Pew Research Study did not include Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Libya, and Algeria in the survey, although densely populated Muslim countries such as Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, and Bangladesh were included."

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muslim_attitudes_towards_terrorism

I wonder how the opinions differ in the countries they excluded?

The person who created the faith showed extreme levels of violence by allowing beheadings and barbaric punishments to proceed. The only amusing part is that liberals bow down to religion in this one case but feel free to trash much more peaceful and modern religious actions by other faiths.

Moderate Muslims have been fighting and making gains against ISIS. In Syria, Assad has liberated Palmyra, and is continuing to make advances. The Kurds have been successful in rolling back ISIS control as well. In Iraq the Kurds have had success as well, and the government is working on liberating Mosul. Yes they have been using Western and Russian help, but they have been doing the ground work, and they needed heavier weapons since ISIS had gotten a lot of the ones that we left over in Iraq.

It's sad that Obama screwed this up so bad. It's as if he did 100% everything wrong. There's little wonder why people think he actually planned this. Between Iraq, Libya, and everything else in the middle east, it's as if it was planned this way.

There's just no way that someone didn't see this coming.

What could have been done differently? Obama kept us from getting bogged down in yet another Middle Eastern War with no end. The number of Westerners killed in Brussels and Paris is nowhere near the number that would have died if we put boots on the ground in Syria.

Leave Libya alone. Stay in Iraq with X number of troops. I haven't studied Syria that much, but the people not fighting could have gone to an area in Iraq. Probably split Iraq up. Biden was saying split it into thirds.

The main thing is to stop trying this insane multi-cultural thing. It keeps ending in war. Much like here in the US, we keep pushing people together and writing laws that say they must get along, yet they never do.

The mixed parties in Iraq was the main problem. ISIS is mainly Iraq's old army that got the shaft when we left. There's just too many different people that'll never get along. That 1st guy that Bush left in there was all wrong for the job.

My comment was in jest. Yet your point applies well on both sides of the Isle. It's what I enjoy about not belonging to either party during these times of great social disarray.

I'd prefer to use his title... but acting the fool and denigrating the office, he's not worthy of receiving the level of respect normally extended to POTUS.
