White House 'deeply disappointed' by Europe outlawing Silicon Valley

"Since 2000, the Safe Harbor Framework has proven to be critical to protecting privacy on both sides of the Atlantic and to supporting economic growth in the United States and the EU"

I think by bypassing the original EU-legislation meant to protect privacy.

The Corporation of USA is not doing very well anywhere in the world. Wherever they show up they loose face. The good and the bad would be they don't really represent the people.

Well, the US government can suck my Dutch cheese balls :)

And a useless protest from the EU, because the NSA always will have secret back doors to our online EU info,
only now they will have to be secretive about it :)

Who cares? Europe doesn't innovate or create anything worthwhile without massive government intervention.

Of course it would help the case of the USA if they could protect the data that they do have.
