oh no, not like that..

like the parts to make it work I have read like;

logic board,
LCD,
digitzier,
Camrea model,
etc etc stuff like that,

What you are looking at in the first picture is the logic board. The logic board is made by Apple using all those parts you see in the picture. Some of them are labelled, like the Samsung processor, but others aren't. Can't help with the other stuff, sorry.

Thanks for your help, I want to know everything in side, etc. and how to put them together. etc. (i'm going to try something)

I also want to know where I can get these parts from.

* 8-GB NAND Flash Memory: $22.80
* 2-Megapixel camera module: $7.00
* Improved touch screen: $20.00
* WLAN chipset: $4.00
* Battery: $4.00
* GPS: $3.60
* Motion Sensor / Accelerometer: $2.00
* HSDPA Digital Baseband: $15.00
* Application Processor: $13.50
* RF Transceiver: $4.25
* Display: $20.00
* 64-Mbit NOR Flash Memory, 32-Mbit PSRAM: $1.89

Got it, don't worry.

If they got them this cheap, how and where would the public buy them?

I know right? I though you were going to attempt a new custom build of an iPhone 3G. Good luck at getting your friend's fixed.

Yeah, just do not know where to get this stuff, this phone is pretty screwed up.

edit: I actually may just do a custom build of a 3G after this, but the logic board and the cumminications board will be the hardest parts to get.

This is one place to get iPhone parts.

I'm guessing the best way to get iPhone 3G parts is from other broken or damaged iPhone 3G's.

Ummm if you search in the forums for the original unboxing/dis-assembly photos, one of the featured sets of pictures labels all of the known parts....

Here's the link to iFixIt:

http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/First-Look/iPhone3G/Page-7

From this page on they list the parts
