I dont too much care for King Bush and his successor Queen Hillary Milhous Nixon. I'm sorry thats an insult to Richard Nixon.

Sorry for this... But maybe one or two of you will appreciate it. Definitely my favorite monarch. :)

Unfortunately! Why it is still tolerated I never understand. I wish Disney would make them all an offer and send them all off to live in Sleeping Beauty's castle.

At least they can earn their keep then in stead of pretending they do. ;)

Yeah, never thought I'd miss Nixon.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to tell you this, but I'm afraid he passed away. :(

I like the Queen of England, because she seems far less evil than the rest of them. Don't know about her kids though. We all know how that's been going. Though the eldest Grandson doesn't seem to be too horrible.

Juan Carlos of Spain seems like a pretty cool guy.

    I HATE the British monarchy.
We should sell them to Disney!

EDIT: I've just seen arkitect's response!

I can just see HRM waving from the Pumpkin Coach… what a glad day that would be! Make 'em do some real work!

The royalties (no pun intended) off of the souvenirs would make a mint. Someone have Steve's iPhone number? :p

    Why, that was funny. :p

Was it Voldemort? He who cannot be named? Because that would have been awesome.

Well I wouldn't want to get Macrumors closed down! :D:D

Just suffice to say "He who cannot be named" is (apparently!! Caveats Caveats!) the eldest one…;)

What, is he like a bastard child or secret or something? If so, that's probably for the best, because they could use a little less inbreeding IMO. Though I hear the younger one, the red head who dressed like a Nazi for a party and joined the military (Harry right?) is actually not really Charles' kid either.

    Naughty royals.

That could have been out of necessity though. I mean even Nature knows when to just say "no way" and shut off the reproductive switch.

I mean, look at that blood line. Lately - Wow.

The mad old dear in our apartment building who believes she was kidnapped from Buckingham Palace as a toddler, denying her her correct place on the throne of the UK.

Not sure of her real name, but we all call her Elizabeth which she seems to like :)

If the British ever get rid of the monarchy, it's ok with me as long as they give me Prince Harry. :)

Good call on Queen Raina, I LOVED King Hussien when he was alive. Great man.

Also- I must second Bluevevet's fave, Elvis is THE king.

In the same trend, I suggest for future threads:

    Who's your favorite serial killer?
    Who's your favorite dictator?
    Who's your favorite mass murderer?

To answer this specific question, there's no such thing as a good monarch (except, maybe, the King of Tory). Juan Carlos I of Spain was put in place, in case you don't remember, but the same guy who ruled Spain during 40 years...

Prince Albert of Monaco seems like a good enough guy.
