The Rev. James Manning wants to stone all homosexuals. The pastor of Atlah Missionary Baptist Church in Harlem said as much in a recent YouTube video, where he called upon his fellow Christians to take up stones against gays or be guilty of "advocating lawlessness." It is the law, he further claimed, "stoning of the homos is now in order; stoning is still the law." Jesus would want this, he concluded, and would himself stone gay people. And so all last week the message on the billboard outside his church read, "Jesus would Stone Homos."

The Antipodes.
And it comes as no surprise that he'd spent three and a half years in the slammer, where he 'Found the lord' He needs to receive what he spews out.

Is this, perchance, an unsolicited job audition?

Did he hear Fred Phelps' position (and it's dubious media spotlight) is up for grabs?

The only Jesus that would stone homos is the one working on the MJ shop on Colorado. He should lead by example & cast the first stone, the guy wants to be sent back to his Boy friend in jail

I doubt Jesus would stone homosexuals. From what we know he wasn't a big fan of gentiles. Doubt he'd stone them either.

The historical person known as Jesus has been defamed and maligned, his record distorted for the sake of hateful, revisionist people whose intent is to manipulate and control prejudical bigots like themselves.

This is very sick for anyone to hide behind and use religion, a religion that supposedly follows the good deeds of the Jesus in the bible, to spread their own hate and fear agenda.

The Jesus of the bible that I read about would never stone anyone. Instead, he'd probably get stoned with them. ;)

Oh great! Now I have an image in my head of Jesus saying, "Don't bogart that joint, my friend. Pass it over to me.":p

Don't be ridiculous. It's a well known fact that Jesus invented toke-toke-pass.

Jennifer Louise Lopez Asks Anti-Gay Harlem Church To Stone Her
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/03/20/lesbian-stoning-anti-gay-church_n_5000239.html
When Jennifer Louise Lopez first saw the horrific anti-gay sign go up on The ATLAH Worldwide Missionary Church in her neighborhood in Harlem, she knew she had to take action.

Run by Dr. James David Manning, a man who has been outspokenly critical of the Obama administration and the progression of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) rights over the course of the past six years, the church made headlines in late February when religious leaders posted a polarizing sign that read "Obama has released the homo demons on the black man. Look out black woman. A white homo may take your man."

The church then later replaced the sign with one that read "Jesus would stone homos," along with "Stoning is still the law" and Bible verses Matthew 5:17-19, Deuteronomy 17:5-7, Leviticus 20:13 and John 8:1-11.

Well, I doubt America actually needs you to believe in it, it is, after all, not a flying purple Unicorn that farts rainbows.

Well, to answer the OP:

If you consider Jesus as an incarnation of the holy trinity, in that Jesus IS God, he would stone everyone on the planet. He just wouldn't drown them, because he made that promise to Noah the last time he decided to kill every single man, woman, child, animal, insect, fish, bird, and plant on Earth.

Actually Jesus would not support this kind of behavior, and it is there in black and white in the Bible.

We probably know the following saying even if we are not religious.

"Ye who is without sin cast the first stone." (paraphrasing here) Since Jesus has stated none are without sin, then there should be no casting of stones:)

Are you saying that Jesus himself was a sinner?

But really, the more I read this forum the more faith I lose in America.
So what you're saying is that the more faith we have, the less faith we inspire?
Or the more extreme the faith, the less trust can be placed in faith based judgment (by reasonable neutral parties).

Mary Gauthier's Mercy Now seems about right here.

Excerpt:
My church and my country could use a little mercy now
As they sink into a poison pit going to take forever to climb out.
They carry the weight of the faithful who follow them down.
I love my church and country; they could use some mercy now.

Every living thing could use a little mercy now
Only the hand of grace can end the race toward another mushroom cloud.
People in power? They'll do anything to keep their crown.
I love life and life itself could use some mercy now...
