Hey there, I just sold my iPhone 5 16gb for $550 on Amazon so I can buy either the 5S or GS4 when the 5S is announced. I'm curious as to how many people are doing the same thing, and also how much they sold their phone for.

If you've sold, or are selling your iPhone let us know what model and price you got so we can make sure we all sell for a fair price!

    Me: iPhone 5 Verizon, 16gb, $550

Going to hold on to my 4S and probably give it to my sister for her first phone

I just sold my iPhone 5 64GB for $520 on craigslist. I wanted to get more but no one would buy it. I'm using my N4 now and idk if I'll buy a new iPhone. I'll definitely be watching to see what apple does but I'm just not into iOS 7 at all.

    I sold my AT&T iPhone 5 16GB for $420. I thought it was a pretty good price.

Just sold 2 iPhone 3GS's, an iPhone 4S, a Nexus S, and a Nexus 7 tablet through one of those cash for electronics services, MaxBack. I feel I could've gotten a bit more for the 3GS's and Nexus S in particular but it took the hassle right out of the process so I'm not complaining.

I'll hold on to my iPhone 5 and probably get a 5S...or an HTC One Google Edition if the 5S happens to really underwhelm me.

Well like Gazelle, does anyone still use that?

I don't want to have to wait longer than 3 days.

I don't really see anything worth using my upgrade for the 5s. I have the 5 and it is fine.

Planning to get the Moto X Custom...

Both have nano sims so I should be able to switch back and forth.

Gazelle is offering $320 for an factory unlocked 16GB iPhone 5 that is "flawless".
    Absolute ripoff.

However, I really want to sell it, but things are keeping me back. :(

    iphone 4

I just bought a 16Gb iphone 4 Verizon in flawless condition on Craigslist for $150, the person I bought it from could have got $180.

plan to turn it around in a month and sell it for $150 at least and get the 5C.

iPhone resell prices aren't great on Craigslist in many cities these days.

It's all about supply and demand.

Plus many people are happy with the current phones so don't feel the need to upgrade.

Heck I just found a mint S4 for $360 yesterday on Craigslist with box and everything. So as a buyer u may get some great deals.

I've come to realize now that I don't need the new iPhone every year. Really isn't practical anymore. So my iPhone 5 will probably do me good for another year or so.

Not going to upgrade my phone until 4G networks cover most of the UK. Even then I won't upgrade if my phone can use the 4G network of whatever network I'm on at the time.

But it's convenient and you really don't have to do much since they give you a box too. That's probably why they do so well. I like how the offer is guaranteed for 30 days too.

It's actually very easy once you open a seller account. And prices on amazon are usually higher so you can sell it for a lot more.

Amazon does take an 8% commission though, and you have to wait 2 weeks to get your money, but for me it's still worth it cuz I got more $$ then I ever would have on Craigslist etc.

    I will keep the 5.

I have a device that works well for me. No point in trading in because I would lose money, and potentially get a lemon for a new phone if there are issues with the brand new models.

My iPhone 5 will not be going anywhere anytime soon.

I'm very happy with it and unless I absolutely HAVE to sell it or whatever then I will do it.

Not really a big change from the 5 so no compelling reason to upgrade.

Waiting to see what the 5S/5C offers before deciding. Maybe that should be an option, because even though they are just rumors at this point, so far it doesn't look very enticing.
