wondering why are the icons to my dock looking like this. ?? any body know

Well the Trash Can looks different. I assume you have some 3rd party app doing that?

The Finder icon thing looks fine to me. I just pressed that little gel button on the top right of the window to change the look of the Finder window, minimized it in the dock, and looks pretty much like yours.

why does it look pixellated or blurred? ya i was talking about the finder icon not trash icon

Ahh yes I see it now. Odd. Have you tried restarting the computer? Hiding, showing the dock? Turn off/on the magnification? Changing monitor resolutions? Those are some pretty off the wall suggestions, but couldn't hurt to try. I assume it's not happening with other apps? Just Finder?

I'm not sure how those icons on the dock work, but it seems like something happened to the file that shows the Finder icon there.

Maybe someone with a bit more technical knowledge about that knows?
 
well.. probably cause either... quartz isn't running fully to render a better image for the dock, or its temp item and so rendering to a better image isn't necessary.

btw nice trash can i have used that once before.
