Why are the WD My Passport 2TB drives so expensive & scarce in the UK?

I've been looking for a WD My Passport 2TB external portable HDD in silver and have had no luck finding any in the UK, either online or on the high street. What gives?

I have both the 1Tb and 2TB my passport studio drives - cant fault them!

I bought mine directly from the WD Online Store though - almost always in stock, but a bit more expensive.
Got my 2TB as soon as it was first released and it was around the £250 mark!

Thanks for the links. Ideally I was looking for one in SILVER colour but it looks like I may have to settle for BLACK, because even on the WD Store the only colour they seem to stock is BLACK...

I think they mainly come in Black - The My Passport Studio drives are really nice. They are black and silver but match with the Mac equipment really well - also have metal cases, although they are more expensicve due to the Firewire800 interface also.
