iPhone Why do new emails sometimes go to the bottom of my inbox?

As per screenshot, anyone else have this? Is it a bug or a setting?

What are your Settings > Mail > Threading options set to? Do you have Most Recent Message on Top enabled?
 
I have threading off but didn’t have most recent messages at the top selected so I’ve just enabled that, thank you!
