US aid to Israel is about $3 BILLION a year, for a population of 7,825,600 million.
    $400 per person.

    Why?

Israel has a strong economy, capable military, pretty good protection of its population, so why do they need that much money?
Would it be better if the US keep most/all of that in US?

Because it's a mere hop, skip and a jump to Iran.

That's Israel's problem, not ours. They're more than capable, both financially and militarily, to handle Iran.

No, it is very much yours. Or rather, it will become yours. If you truly believe that the US would sit by idly and watch Israel and Iran bomb each other then that's quite naïve.

Not sure why Israel is isolated here. The US should pack up their foreign aid programs until they actually have excess money to waste.

    Correct.

We (you) need a policeman in the oil regions of the World, and, let's be honest, to keep the Muslims in-check..

Because of how divisive it is as a country.

I think aid is a great thing, but should be in the form of tangible (not weaponry) objects or food for struggling countries. It shouldn't be easily misappropriated either.

Because Israel is the center. I know I will get flack for this but you asked. Israel is a nation of God and as anyone who has read the Bible will know Israel is protected by Him. Those countries who attack Israel are in trouble and unfortunately it seems our "president" is very sneakily helping them out. He already pulled troops in Iraq, allowing less vision and less immediate action for Iran's actions, he is implementing the NDAA which allows for even US citizens to be arrested and detained and now he is selling fighter jets to the Saudi's whose own citizens were the attackers on 9-11.

If this isn't proof that Obama is a terrorist in disguise than I don't know what is. And our country's citizens are too naive and blinded by his GQ swagger to understand that.

Exactly. Contrary to popular belief, most US foreign aid is used to buy weapons and **** from US defense contractors. Kind of like a socialist jobs program.

If Israel is protected by God, why does it need the US's help?

Are you calling the President of the United States a traitor? Have you taken leave of your senses?

On a timetable agreed by the previous Bush administration and co-signed by the Iraqis. They don't want you there anymore.

This is a meaningless sentence. Explain.

Laws inserted into the Act by a Republican congress... and you expect the President to veto an annual funding bill for the Department of Defense? Obama's signing statement:

The Saudis fear Iran which is why they want these jets. 9/11 wasn't an attack by the Saudi government.

The man with the highest security clearance in the land, uprooting Al Qaeda while the former president slept on his watch, ignoring warnings about the impending attacks... and you've got the deranged and utterly bankrupt nerve to call this president a terrorist?

This is some of the worst nonsense I've ever seen posted in this forum and over the years, behind the scenes and participating, and I've seen a lot. I'm genuinely concerned about your state of mind.

I would say the exact same thing to each and every one of you who support him, defend him, say it's "not so bad" and/or ignore the road to destruction he is driving us down.

Don't worry, once President Santorum is sworn in, Obama will seem like the designated driver at the Tequila party at the mental hospital.

Sorry, this isn't how things work. You make unfounded and serious allegations, based on little, or worse, complete lies. And then someone like me, points out your lack of regard to the facts. Not opinions, but facts.

This isn't supporting anyone, this is ensuring that we're having a conversation about reality, not some fictional make-believe universe where the president is a terrorist and a traitor.

So what road of destruction has Obama in store for the nation then? Since it seems that only you can see the truth, be specific.

I've already stated my opinion and shown the circumstances to which I derived that opinion from. That is how things work. And since I have done both of those I owe you nothing more.

I could argue until I was blue in the face about why or what but I know how this forum works and it's useless. I have a right to state my opinion, I'm not childishly insulting any forum members and I'm stating circumstances that have occurred. Nothing to see here.

You make a vague and apocalyptic claim (the president is leading the nation down a road of destruction). I ask you what you mean, but you won't explain yourself. What am I and others supposed to conclude from that?

Let me put it another way: Say I come on here and tell everyone that the moon is made of cheese, I know it as a fact because it's yellow. And to make things worse, I tell others that they're all too blind to see. And when people ask me how I know, I say 'I've already stated my opinion and shown the circumstances to which I derived that opinion from.'

You'd all conclude I was full of it. Right?

Tell me, how does this forum work?

Of course you do. Just as anyone here has the right to examine your opinions and point out to you just exactly where you are wrong in regard to the facts.

If you're not prepared to explain them in detail when people ask what you mean, especially when your opinions are so outrageous, then don't be surprised when people don't take you seriously.
