    Don't worry, he got it.

    For those who are not native English speakers, the original piece is a perfect example of English-Language satire. The deadpan start is a hallmark of this style-- you have to read a few sentences before you can be sure. This doesn't always come through clearly on the Internet ;)

    Strangely enough, there is a nice little article on satire in Wikipedia.

    Well, I called it an "endorsement" of Romney because that's what it appears to be -- at first ;) -- and I didn't want to give away the joke right in the intro. It's much more fun as you read further and further into the article and realize that this guy's "endorsement" is bitterly sarcastic. :D
