Here is an example of why I believe Chris Dodd is the best candidate on either side of the isle.
I like Chris Dodd, too, and I do hope he shows up in someone's cabinet a year from now.
Yeah, it's a real risk for him to take this position before a single primary vote has been cast. The guy's a seasoned politician. I'm not surprised at all.
I've like other things about him as well along the same lines, but he seems to have dropped out now. I'm guessing he was angling for VP or somewhere in the cabinet, and might still get it unless Obama keeps his lead and chooses Edwards (if he would accept). It's too bad, he probably was the best candidate, and really went for it, but he never really grabbed enough attention or set himself out there enough.
Good Riddance I say, maybe now he will actually do his job in this state.
If he didn't before, why would he now?
Good point, I don't think he would of even got the nod from CT.
He's been doing a remarkable job staying up to date on things in the Senate, actually. He's been in the chambers fighting harder than a lot of the people who don't have anything else to do.
Sounds like he'll have plenty of time to concentrate on his job in the Senate now.
Good. He can help kill that disgusting FISA bill with it's wealth transfer provisions for the telecoms.
