iPod touch Why is it sooo hard??

I followed the instructions exactly and I've gotten to the point where you install Trip1PogoStick and after it is installed, all you're supposed to do is reboot, but after you reboot it has given me the connect to iTunes logo! This has happened to me everytime I get to rebooting after installing Trip1PogoStick. I am just so damn frustrated right now...

If this helps you. I figured you could just launch the Installer app from the terminal. Then install the community sources and Trip1PogoStick should appear.

and after installing Trip1PogoStick and rebooting, I get the damn icon telling you to connect to iTunes. It makes no sense. I'm following all the instructions.
