Why is the mobileme site not showing up on my ipad browser?

    All I get is a screen that says, Requires Paid Subsription and underneath that it has options of Set up Mail, Contacts, Calender, install idisk, and Install Gallery.
    I can't even get to the log in screen.

    Well it does not need to work because there are apps for each aspect of mobile me.

    As for WHY it doesn't work. I have no idea. Was it a choice or is the iPad incapable?

    There is no app for mobileme contacts. What if I want to go to the site and look at my address book? How do I do that on my ipad?

    If you really wanted to use the web version instead of the various apps on your device, I believe that you could install a browser that lets you change the browser identification (I think Atomic will let you). Then you could set the browser to identify as a normal desktop machine instead of an iPad.

    MobileMe account management comes to mind as why I would want to go to the site. There is no app for usage or other family account information.
