Why so hard to setup Spotify on AW family member account?

I have an AW ultra set up as a standalone number on cellular network, using a separate Apple ID. I want to download Spotify under the family member ID, but it says require IPhone.


When I connect my iPhone to the watch I can’t see a way for me to download either. Please help, what am I doing wrong?

What happens if you use the same Apple ID for both the Watch and iPhone?

I just reinstalled the watch under wifi only for my primary account and Spotify installed fine, but under a different family member account as a standalone number with cell service no go, so frustrating ugh.
