I would think that even fellow Republicans would be turned off by this clumsy, blatant bigotry.

Rinehart needs to go back to Sunday school to learn about compassion and tolerance...and to grade school to brush up on his spelling and grammar.

I wasn't aware that 12 year olds could run for public office in Oklahoma.

Sir, you do a disservice to 12-year-olds, not just in Oklahoma, but everywhere. :(

Disgusting didn't even begin to describe it.

I was running late for work, so I just posted the link, but I heard about this because this piece of crap was on CNN defending himself. Apparently, Oklahomans are concerned about roads and bridges, fair enough, but according to him, somehow the "homosexual agenda" prevents us from building roads and bridges. I've yet to figure that one out. If you want to actually see this schmuck at work, click here.

That guy has some serious issues, and sounds like he's about to lose an election. That little comic book isn't going to help him. But then again, we are talking about Oklahoma. ;)

Where the wind comes sweepin' through their brains...

Well, ya know, all those brawny gay construction workers show up at the site, see each others' chiseled bodies, and before you know it, they're making hot-'n'-sweaty man-love in the beds of their F150s, under the tarp, instead of constructing said roads and bridges.

It's really obvious if you think about it.

I saw this earlier and I thought it was a joke. Really?

As someone who engages in comic art/cartooning, looking at this hurts my head. At least this moron has blown any hope of a political future (which was apparently blown already, he was only trying to change the course of a mighty river... of bad press). I'm still wrapping my head around the fact that he actually sat down and drew all of this garbage... and then distributed it.

    FAIL.

It's at the level of a comic a friend and I wrote when we were about 9. It's was about GI Joe.

Indeed. I think I must have been 5 or 6 to be still doing warped smiles and over-sized heads. Oh for the days when everyone looked like a body builder. Good times.

I'll have to dig out some old drawings. They all looked like that. Unless they were robots.

Everyone should be allowed to run for office. It's just very disturbing that anyone actually voted for him.

The sad thing is that he's convinced that he's right.

How insecure a human being do you have to be...?

For two months effort and only 16 pages long I'd expect at least some colouring in.

p.s. I want to be a boyscout leader.

Considering how homophobic this guy is, it can't be too much longer before he either gets outed by a male escort or gets caught demonstrating his wide stance in a public men's room.

To paraphrase Larry Craig, Brent enjoys getting "jerked around by the gas nozzle". ;)

You misunderstood. It wasn't roads and bridges, it was broads and ridges. Homosexuality is interfering with willing women on the hills surrounding Oklahomo city. Proving once again that intolerance in the heartland is alive and well.
