Sounds like it isn't a great test.

Besides removing pointless bureaucracy is something conservatives like right?

Nice. We haven't heard this absurd analogy 4000 times this week. What I love most about PRSI is all the original content.

It could be but giving results you don't like isn't the definition of a bad test.

I imagine even conservatives would prefer teachers be literate.

It's an opinion piece. And we all know what they say about opinions.

If you hear one thing only once, then it could be a fluke. If you keep hearing the same thing 4000 times a week over and over again, coming from different sources…. then maybe just maybe there's some truth or partial truth to it. ;)

I think Joseph Goebbels said the same thing. "If you tell a lie often enough it becomes the truth". Sounds like Trump isn't the only person repeating the patterns of a certain German Socialist from the 1940s. ;)

***holes are quite valuable. Life as we know it would be awful without them.

I dunno. I divorced one 25 years ago, and life has been excellent ever since.

Ugh no. Got a new husband 20 years ago, but he's great - absolutely not an ***hole.

I'm still on my first wife. I'm not sick of her yet, I think I'll hang onto her for a while.

Fixed it, conservatives prefer to be literate only in religion based science, because science wasn't around in the era that their conservative traditions belong to, they refuse to live in reality, in the present. ;)

That's a pretty broad generalization. I identify as a conservative. I'm also agnostic. I believe in evolution. I also believe in people being open to new scientific breakthroughs. Literacy is important in all aspects of life.

This is an absurd. There are many conservatives who don't believe in God at all. There are conservatives who don't see a disparity between science and faith. Many conservatives have advanced degrees in the hard sciences. The fact that liberals like to claim sole ownership of intellectualism is ridiculous.

The liberal member of congress (Hank Johnson) who thinks the island of Guam is going to capsize doesn't seem to be very literate to me.

Our most dangerous conservative leadership happen to profess to be followers of Christ. They convienently leave hypocrite out of the description.

Teachers not having a literacy test is not a liberal ideal. Testing this kind of competency is not prejudice, but a job description. To classify it as one (liberal ideal) would be disingenuous, possibly pushed by some individuals associated with liberalism, or by incompetent teachers.

Lol, those leaders who like to spout about the war on Christians, want a camera in your bedroom, want to take charge of your procreation decisions, place a stamp of approval (or disapproval) on who you want to love, and want to enact laws that favor Christianity over science fact. Basically all of the top GOP leadership spots including Supreme Leader, although for him that is definitely window dressing. :)

Need a little evidence? The insanity runs deep: MacRumors thread topic about a Texas Masturbation law. And no, it's not from 1950.

Hold on... isn't that how the Nazi did to convince the German people that Jews were bad?

So no specific name with no specific statements to back up your accusations. No problem. These conclusions prove my hypothesis. Thank you for your help.

This is correct. Joey Goebbels. And they call Trump "Hitler". What a joke.
