Why would someone get a combined degree in Economics and Geography?

    Why would someone get a combined degree in Economics and Geography?

    Is there a benefit of doing this over just taking economics or geography?

    One of my most memorable undergrad courses was Economic Geography. In fact, economic geography is a discipline in and of itself.
