First of all, excuse my English.

Let me explain.

Recently I´ve been noticing a sound quality deterioration on my Homepods (both OG and Mini) when playing music. Lower maximum volume, and distant/veiled background elements in the mix. It also affects video content from Netflix and such when I link the the OG Homepods with an Apple TV.

But thanks to the suggestion of a fellow user in reddit, I tried to Airplay the same music from youtube Music and to my surprise, the homepods sounded great. Louder, fuller, detailed.

Tried my Senheisser´s HD 599 with my Ipad/Iphone... and the same music (Atmos OFF, lossless ON) sounded great in Apple Music. Tried my Airpods... and the music sounded much lower, muddy and distant again.

Mmm... this morning i finally called apple about it. To my surprise, they acknowledged the issue right away and said that they are working on it. In happens in all Apple Music content, but only when played trough Apple audio hardware. I don´t know if its a sound processing issue or what. Very strange.

Anyone suffering lately from the same or similar issues?. If so, please consider leaving Apple detailed feedback about it here:
