Does anyone know or have any idea if wifi calling will be enabled on the iPhone 5 when iOS 8 is released?

Yes. Apple mentioned it in the keynote.

Awesome, even on the iPhone 5, not 6? I tried to watch the keynote... need to brush up on my Mandarin.. 😀
