Will Apple ever have another MagSafe portable power bank charger?

They discontinued and looks like it may never come back. I like the Anker and use one but that small Apple charger was sweet!

Only Apple knows. My guess is no, if they were going to re-introduce the accessory they would have done it last year.

I think they probably didn't sell enough of them to make re-tooling worthwhile because it was twice the price of the competition for no real reason other than the logo.

Otterbox makes a battery pack that is similar in size and capacity to Apple's.

But does not have the nice iOS integratoon… I hope they will release a new one with usb-c or at least give 3 party companies the opportunity to integrate their battery packs into iOS like the original one

Yes, and that it does not charge past 90% when you want it + that it stops charging when the phone gets hot

Ah I didn't know about those features. But those are features on the phone, not the charger. Apple could make it work with any magsafe or qi charger
