Will Apple upgrade midnight finish on M3 models to its new "breakthrough anodized seal" to reduce fingerprints?

So with a wide variety of people saying the midnight color is beautiful they also lament how bad fingerprints are. Do you think Apple will apply its new anodized seal from the MacBook Pro M3 Pros to the midnight finish on the MacBook Air next go around?

I voted 'no' as I think they M3 Air will simply be the M2 Air with a new chip and otherwise minimal changes.

I think Apple will put the new coating on next Macbook air midnight for one simple reason : drastically reduce the return rate.
And maybe another reason : 😊

No chance. Apple will consider it a 'Pro' feature selling point, which basically means premium features only for the premium MacBooks.

Depends on what it costs, obviously. If they can they will.

I guess it's a simple calculation cost vs returns. Compare returns of that color to other colors. Of course if it costs Apple 10 cents more (total), going by this, it won't happen.

Looks like they have gone and done it. I would like to see that seal on the inside frame as well on the surrounding keyboard area. Glad to see the awesome Midnight version carry on with this added feature.
