Will it take as long as Verizon Says?

I have just order the iPhone 5 32GB from Verizon. Verizon says it will ship by Oct. 26, which is just under a month from now, Sept 29. Is there any chance of getting earlier than the estimated date? Because I really don't want to wait that long.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I ordered a week ago at the verizon store. Meaning when it comes in, I will have to go pick it up from them. They told me it may not come til Oct 19th, but that it may come sooner..whatever that means.

For what its worth, I think that means that it might not come in until Oct 19th. However, it might come in sooner.

FWIW, My 32GB iphone had a delivery date of October 5th. My phone is already at sorting facility in my city. So I will get it either today or Monday October 1st. The 32GB and 64GB models are shipping out faster than the 16GB models.

Had a delivery date of 10/5 for my black, 32 and got it yesterday, 9/28.

I ordered mine a week ago from VZW and expected ship date is October 19th. I'm hoping that it comes earlier.

We October 19th'ers need a thread to keep track of each other's order progress.
