I am assuming the new iPads would use modems from the same supplier as the iPhone XS generation leaving room for perhaps the same reported Wi-Fi / LTE problems?

I doubt there could have been enough time in between these reports and product launches to really find a corrective measure in manufacturing should indeed the modems are to blame??

Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure the issue has now been resolved as it was software based. Therefore the new iPads shouldn’t have the issues.

All I know is with my Mom's ipad 9.7 inch(Not sure if this is an issue with our wifi) every so often I will have to turn off wifi on the ipad and connect it again because it just will not load anything

iPad Pro will likey have a different WIFi antenna setup than the iPhone.
And since this is Probably the Last 4G LTE iPad Pro I am sticking with Wifi only.
Until 5G LTE models are available
Or just Turn my Note 9 into an LTE Hotspot. Its Qualcomm Radio gets amazing LTE signal.

Don't see why they wouldn't considering the XS issues are just for a small number of users and will be fixed via software.
