Do you think they'll make a red iPhone X like they did last year for the 7 and 7 plus?

Isn't that the only product red iphone that apple has released?

I have no idea how it'll work, because they do have to give off a % of what they sell.

I'm not sure if it'll be one of those things to clear inventory when a phone needs to be sold at end-of-cycle or they'll not let the option on another phone until the iphone freakin 14 lol!

Nah probably not. I don't see Apple making a red-glasss back, with red stainless steel frames. They didn't even release a Rose Gold or Gold this year.

Agreed-Red underneath the glass with the silver edge would be amazing.

If red metal back, I'm in.

If none, the metal back 6.1" iPhone.

No. If they update a color, it might happen around a Spring 2018 Keynote, if they host one in March. They might introduce a Gold/Blush Gold or some other neutral color if anything.

Considering what they did with the 7/7plus, leaving the stainless steel Touch ID rim silver...

...if they leave the X stainless steel frame silver and just slapped a red back. I’m all in.

Thats just a step back... no wireless charging, not gonna happen for the X.

Yes on that - that would also get into all kinds of issues with the camera, in addition to charging.

In theory, you can do red PVD coatings on stainless. What that would cost for the smaller production numbers is probably a key question.
