An app, made by a former SCOTUS justice, that not only teaches kids how political science/civics works in the US, but also teaches them how to run for office civilly..

Not only would I love to see our current crop of POTUS candidates play this, but also see them lose (especially in standings) to a child who has more of a grasp on issues than the candidates themselves. That Would be an eye opener, as well as show everyone that a child actually has more manners than the adults running.

The article makes it sound like she wrote the app.

I'd bet a month's paycheck that Sandra Day O'Connor is not writing code.

I guess Sandra Day O'Connor doesn't support 3rd party candidates.

I'll give you that one. I can see where one can get that idea.

With that, I took more of a look into iCivics. Here's the tale of the tape:

Looking at the supporters, it definitely is legit, and rather nonpartisan. I say rather, because we all have our varying opinions of the Bill/Melinda Gates Foundation, but the Ford, MacArthur, Annenberg, Hearst, and Draper Richards Kaplan Foundations are all very well known and legit.

I'd put it down to the way article is written; I won't deny you that.. but would we all be impressed if she actually did code at least some part of the app?

If she's 86 and was coding I would give her props.

Last time Justice O'Connor coded, she was feeding 80-column punchcards into an IBM 360.

She looks like an older Ginni Rometty.
