Windows Media Player install problems

Has anyone else had problems installing the Windows Media Player 9?

I have the new G5, with OX 10.3.5, and have tried, over eight times now, to install it. It downloads OK, but them gives a strange message that it is not compressed and I need to check info. Then nothing happens.

I have been in touch with the Microsoft people and they are no help.

So far, this is the ONLY problem experienced with this great machine.

There are ultimately a few different versions and formats you can get it in... Try this one (from Microsoft's site):

Actually, I discovered the problem. My stuffit expander was an older version - went to the web site and downloaded the new version - it went right through.

Guess I need to make sure everything is up to date when I change computers and systems.
