Winpwn crashing while building custom ipsw

When I run winpwn 2.0.0.3, I choose the correct 3G iPhone restore ipsw, then go to the ipsq builder. I choose install cydia, and nothing else, since I do not need to activate or make custom icons. Then I choose build ipsw. Either winpwn crashes during building the ipsw and leaves me with a 4kb custom file, or it just says it failed altogether. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this?

I read elsewhere that you need sufficient RAM, but I have way more than enough free RAM.
