Are there any good wireless sniffer for the mac? similar product like netstumbler for the PC?
If i'm not mistaken, your mac should be able to find other wireless networks on its own.
Go to your networks settings in sys prefs and under airport choose "connect to network with best signal" and it will find other networks if your out traveling with it.
Don't know how good it is...
Edit by Doctor Q: It moved to this address.
I think it will even find the network even if you don't select that option. I'm pretty sure the network will still be displayed in the Airport toolbar menu - it just won't automatically connect (you'd have to actually select it from the menu).
macstumbler is great.
just do a google search.
probally, try macstumbler when I am war driving!
Is it easy to find open nodes using macstumbler?
