What would be the reason the faster wireless charging wasn't available when the new phones were released? Why do we have to wait for an update to implement that?

Is there an Apple wireless charger for the iPhone x

I'll place mine ( next week) on my two Apple watch chargers and see :)

Deadlines, priorities and acceptance criteria. If you work in software development you know sometimes you have to push features back if you want to hit a deadline. With iOS 11 it was fast charging, Apple Pay Cash, iMessages in iCloud, etc.

Samsung phones were exploding because they rushed power management and battery hardware, and you ask this question?

Are you serious?

You seem like such a nice person.

So the problem with Samsung catching fire was because of the fast charging? If it was that simple why didn't they just release an update that slowed it down?

That was the first thing they did, apparently. They also reduced charging capacity.

It wasn't enough to overcome the other issues, so they had to issue a full recall.

So explain to me how you are comparing this issue with my question about Apple's 5W and and then updating to 7.5W for the wireless charging.
