Been lurking since I ordered this and now I finally registered. Got my 3G 64GB today and wow! As you may guess by my user name, I like cameras and one main interest in this is how I can use it in my photography and to review and upload pictures to the web.

Figured I'd drop by, say hello, thanks for all the helpful hints and suggestions as I lurked :D

I am loving the iPad and IMHO it's pretty much exactly the device Apple said it would and could be. The user interface is especially amazing to me....

Okay - I'm done geeking for now

Don't buy to many apps!!

I had a realization last night.... Whats the big deal spending $10 on a GOOD iPad game? I've spent $60 on one xbox 360 game. In all honesty I'd rather spend $60 for 6 (again, GOOD) iPad apps....

I'm just talking... This isn't in direct response to anyone or anything ;)

Congrats OP. My laptop gets less and less use daily.

Exactly. The apps aren't badly priced if you consider game consoles and "real" computer software.

Congrats, dude. It's the next phase in computers. A device that is so simple, and so far ahead of other "regular" computers, so many people just don't get it. He'll, even I didn't know how it would affect my day to day life until got one. The next phase, baby! :).
*The Raw Dawg takes a big shot of cognac in honor of Robbie's new iPad*. CHEERS!

For sure. Next time I feel like gettin my game on I'm just gonna get a $50 iTunes card and buy a few different things for the iPad instead of buying one game that I can only play at home.
I'm not like all serious about gaming but I do enjoy it. Grand Theft Auto on the iPad I would gladly pay $15-20. It would be better than the $35 nintendo DS version.

+1! Would love a GTA for iPad.

I'm going to go broke buying itunes cards because I'm loving all this great apps/games for my iPad.

I also waited for the 64 3G. I don't even think I'll be using the 3G much except on vacations. I've filled up half my HD space and wish they had a 500GB iPad.

Congrats! I am sure you will love it, have been enjoying my wi-fi iPad since day 1 :)
