A review of the Pinlo Slice 3 Case for iPhone 4 16GB 32GB- The World's thinnest, lightest and most elaborated iphone 4 case. It truly is the thinnest case for the iPhone 4 currently at 0.35 mm and only 0.35 grams. Link to my review, + Giveaway of 8 of these cases. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyrXNgD1rTA Overall I'm very pleased with this case, and most of all the company, communication is great between the customer. 10/10 from me.
Fits the iPhone 16gb and 32gb, huh? Just teasing.... Good review - seems like an interesting product. Is the black case opaque when its on the phone or can you see the silver Apple logo?
The case looks nice but no protection around the edges of the front is a deal breaker for me. Good review though.
What the heck is the deal with Pinlo anyway? I sent a question to all of the email addresses they have listed on their website and my emails were bounced back as undeliverable. I want to know which of their cases is the thinnest one that protects all 4 sides and the back of the phone (no bumper with a screen protector for the back either).
Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_2_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/533.17.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.2 Mobile/8C148 Safari/6533.18.5) Pinlo-black
That worked. It's weird though because I tried that email address before and it kept changing to usa@pinlo.com (might have a been an issue with my mail program or something). Anyway, he did get back to me and basically suggested the metal one (not interested) or the TPU. Haven't seen a review on the TPU yet so I'll probably wait for one before I pull the trigger.
Thanks for the pictures! Agreed. I actually have a smoke incase snap. I really want this case now, but after using bumpers I'm liking the security of some drop protection even though I haven't dropped my phone yet.
Yep ide second that, its very similar to the incase snap i got from the free case program, but when holding this case you do defiantly feel the difference. Like you said some people do need drop protection. I cant say ide use this case 24/7 on my phone, but maybe when around the house and out and about. But lets say i went out for a trek or went mountain biking, ide probs put a thicker case on.
Another thing, how is the fit on this case? Is it snug and form fitting? It really bugs me when a case has any give to it (like silicone cases). This case is so thin it seems like the material is a bit flimsy/flexible.
This is one of the most form fitting cases I have ever used. What it does is it wraps around the silver band around the iPhone, so just curves over the lip. There no give what so ever, it's even a little difficult to take off.
Mario, many many thanks for the pics. Seeing as you have a decent DSLR, can you please please take some more pictures to define how thin it is? Maybe compared to another case. I've bought soooo many cases and I really need to justify this purchase. Thanks regardless!
I got the bladedge case for myself and the slice 3 case for my wife in white. The nice thing about the bladedge is that it doesnt increase the thickness of the phone at all, just the width. so it's flush with the glass. probably my favorite case after the element vapor case which i had reception problems with. The slice 3 case is the first case i've seen/held where the phone seems the same size as without the case. It's so thin that it doesnt appear to increase the phone size at all. I've tried the Caze case and the incipio feather cases which all seem bulky now compared to the slice. Delivery was fast as well, got an email confirmation on Weds when I ordered and received them on Sat.
Where did your order ship from? I couldn't resist and ordered the slice. My old macbook pro box is now filled with iphone 4 cases. This is the last one I swear...
