I have contacted OWC to see if and how they would facilitate it and how much the discount would be. They said that it not something they normally do but they took down my info and will get back to me.

Respond to this thread if you are interested. I am sure that we would get a sweet deal if we purchase like 20 of them as a group.

Agree with the 240GB SSD from OWC. Have one as a boot drive now, would love another for video scratch disk...

As I see the prices 120gb is 320 and the 240gb is 630.

So give us an idea of what the discount would be. Thanks phil

I'm curious how the payment and distribution would work? But I'm interested in principle as I'm planning on purchasing 2x120GB OWC.

Very Interested for up to 2. However, the way the prices have declined, within the next 2 years you can probably buy retail at a 30% discount. Just recently OWC lowered their prices another 10 bucks on the 60 GB. If the discount is not close to the 30% mark, I'd probably pass.

I am assuming they would give us a promo code to use and a quota to meet. We go and place our individual orders using the promo code and once the quota is met they ship and bill us. So assuming the quota is 20 they will not ship or bill until they get 20 orders. But this is in theory as I have not heard back from them yet.

Thanks for the link. This gives us more leverage to bargain. So now we are looking for a price better than $240 or we shop newegg.
