quite like the widgets, and since I really hate the App Library, ive put each of the main widgets on their own page after 2 pages of apps, so they are not only nice on their own but also push the App Library so far away that I hardly see it.

however it seems daft that the biggest size (on my iPhone 11) is just over half page sized. full sized widgets would look great. even proper half sizes would allow two big widgets but a whole page would look better. at the moment if you only want that widget you've eveither got a big space at the bottom or you shove a smaller widget in which just looks like a banner advert.

Not particularly relavent but I have my widgets in the normal place to the left, a screen of most used apps in the middle, and my App Library on the right. It’s neat and tidy and I like it.
I thought I would miss the muscle memory and (the pleasure of creating and organising) my own folders but I don’t.
I use spotlight extensively anyway, and find the App Library a useful place for an overview of installed stuff.

The new widgets, so far, are not particularly well made use of. I’m sure that will change when 3rd party apps start to make proper use of their advantages.
I think you should be able to make them full screen sized yes - although I can’t see a use case for me personally. I definitely think they’re missing a trick by not enabling single standard icon sized ones however.

i'd suggest that the app itself is the full-size widget; ie calendar. & so easy to open an app (or, as easy as swiping between screens to get to a 'full-size widget'). so, not sure what the benefit would be.

lets face it, widgets don't really have a huge benefit, they are just asthetically pleasing. id like to have a full length one, the same benefit as a (slightly more than) half page one, just prettier.

Plenty of benefit depending on one's use. For example, I have handful that I've been using for years that quickly give me an overview of things all in one place -- what's on my calendar today/tomorrow, reminders that are due, current weather details along with a quick forecast for next few days, sports scores for favorite teams, data usage from my carrier, etc.
