So?

I have experienced something similar. If I download iTunes, or really anything out there, and then do it again, I get like 6.5 MB per sec. It is because it is in the browser cash, and will fly it in.

At work we have a 133mb Leased Line for 3 web servers and I normally see download speeds (from Apple.com) of about 7mb per second.

At home I lost my ADSL connection a few months back so I am getting a leased line at 12mb.

I'm getting 1.5MB/s both up & down on my T1 at home. I couldn't be any happier for $40 a month.

40 a month is not so bad...i am in the south end of the south bay (rural monterey county...heck, it's all rural...)

so i don't count as far as the T1 and DSL folks go

san jose gets those services even cheaper than you
