I was reformatting my GF's computer since it was slow as hell and I wanted to put the music, pictures, and documents on a seperate partition I created. It seemed like the only way was to move the whole home directory to the new location which is not what I want since it brings along the applications. Am I missing something? With Windows 7 its as easy as pointing the Library to a new folder. At this point I just created the directories and threw the links to the Places bar. Then I pointed iTunes to the new Music folder, but Im thinking thats not the best way to do this.
