I click on my BT wifi and it just takes me to a apple unknown page.
the exact same thing has just happened to me? I've been on iOS6 for about 2 months and its only just started?? no idea whats going on
Exactly in the same boat as you.
Just had the same thing
But after a while of connecting to wifi
I've been on iOS 6 since it came out to devs, so don't think it is that, but am having the same issue. Wondering if it is related to one of my many app updates that have been applied in the past couple of hours.
Try to get onto wifi and pulls up apple.com, page not found, then defaults back to 4G.
same thing is happening to me. I am on the goldmaster release, and maybe about 10 minutes ago my wifi stopped connecting and that message came up.
same problem here....
Same thing here. It is asking me to Log In
Some nasty iOS 6 bug?
Same problem with me. Tried resetting my Airport thinking it was an error there, and then wondered if it was the heavy lightning/thunder in Miami, but now that I see this I see it's more widespread. How strange though that it started now all of a sudden...
Up to 3 pages and counting!!
Me too! Can't hook onto my Wi-Fi hotspot. The iOS 6 iPad 3 is fine, though. Wi-Figeddon!
Add me to the list
Exact same but my phone worked fine for several hours, wife got home and updated hers and now mine can't connect. Mac was having problems for a few minutes, had to restart base station and it can get back on, still no phones
Wasn't there an option in IOS 6 that kicks over to 3G if WiFi stops responding?
My WiFi's been working fine all day until I just now tried to do some App Store updates.
I'm wondering if the App Store is running so slow, it kicked the phone off of WiFi?
Was thinking of this, but I don't see that option on my iOS 6.
Damn - I read this thread, then pick up my iP4S and sure as *****, mine is now doing the same thing. It's got to be one of the apps that was just updated. I wonder which one it is.
Same here. Just posted this is another thread, didn't see this here.
God knows whats going on. But atleast Im not the only one.
My guess would be the airport app? No problem here though!
Finally, people who are having the same issue.
Tried resetting everything. Nothing works.
My iMac Wi-Fi works.
Im still on 5.1.1 and this is happening to me today on my 4s
ah atleast it's not ios6 then
also yea my macbook wifi works thankgod..
I had iOS 6 since the GM was released to developers and no issues until WiFiGate a few minutes ago. Asking me to log in and re-directs me to an Apple page.
I don't understand.. I've had every beta on my phone and this issue has never happened. Ugh
Dito here. Upgraded my iPad 2 and iPhone 4, and neither will join any wifi networks other than the one at work when I updated my devices. Perhaps something to do with the setup procedure and then updating the apps afterwards?
