How about that? Childish, moronic and bigoted, all rolled into one. This guy hit the trifecta.

    How disgusting.

He should be less concerned about the peaceful worship going on next door, and more concerned about his wicked dandelion problem.

Of course, bigotry being like a weed itself, this may be a metaphor.

I'd be childish and moronic enough to put a bigger sign on the mosque's front yard that read, "You just passed the home of a stupid bigot."

He is entirely wrong and childish, but I understand his frustration about the church and the lights. In my old neighborhood a church was built that somehow was able to get past a variety of ordinances. It was a nightmare for the houses right next to it.

    that I could agree with.

I honestly would hate living next to a church of any type. Sunday traffic becomes a nightmare and then they noise and lights from other events can be annoying. Big time if the church does not make sure it is far enough away from other residential house.

I agree. I wouldn't want to live next to any type of Church. That being said, this is an incredibly stupid way to try to get anything changed. How can anyone take the guy seriously now? The frustration is correct, but the way he is choosing to show that frustration is horrible.

I'd call the local police, and tell them that the neighbor knows where terrorists are building bombs :)

Of course he has the right to do it.

Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

While clearly a terrible way to go about it, this guy did successfully get national media attention for an issue tha might otherwise have vanished in P&Z board meeting ether. I'm not defending him, I just feel like he effectively used the media machine to generate a scandal and get his voice heard on a national level.

I agree with the posters above about living near a church—for a year I lived half a block from a catholic church that rang its bells alllllll the time. 7am on a Sunday morning? Ding dong ding dong ding dong. Infuriating.

Fair enough. But he should've written, "Code Violations Next Driveway". What he did say, "Bomb Making", is slanderous. Couldn't the church sue for defamation (not that it would help their image)?

I would dislike a religious group building any church next door to me and what looks like a nice country property ... he is going about it wrong ... hold a Woodstock style party every weekend instead.

Bring in the hippies and the rockNroll music :D
