For some reason, after selecting a new aircraft, whenever I try to open something from the top bar (weather etc.), the game freezes and closes. It hasn't always been like this and no files have been moved around, so what could it be? Thanks for any help offered.

Make sure you're updated to the latest version, 9.30b7, and try deleting the Preferences folder in the Output folder in the X-Plane folder.
