Well done Yahoo!
Lots of racist liberal reporters out there.
You're joking right ?
Ok....good, I guess? What's the point of this thread? The guy said something stupid and was fired. If you're trying to demonstrate the racism of the left its not working. If the shoe was on the other foot and he worked for fox news and said something like that about the democratic convention, he probably would not have been fired and therefore we would be outraged. If he said it and was fired nobody here would even start a thread.
Was the statement racist? Or was it a terrible low shot that was entirely unprofessional?
It was a terrible low show that was entirely unprofessional and probably very true.
More of a terrible low shot. I would probably make a similar joke around friends but never as a reporter.
Odd that this news is nowhere on Yahoo news.
Presumably because they no longer have a "top political journalist" to cover such events !
As much as I really despise Fox News, if someone said something like that about Obama, I am 99% sure they would fire them too.
It was certainly unprofessional.
And it just goes to show you how Yahoo News has waaay higher standards than Fox News.
You innocent, innocent man.
I sincerely doubt it.
Good he should be fired for this.
Now why can the conservative people not come done on people on their side like this? Instead they defend them for it.
Obviously a good move on their part. No politics about it.
Sounds like something Lawrence O'Donnell, Chris Mathews, Ed Shultz, and some of the other folks at MSNBC would say, but then again they are not top rate journalists.
ftfy....and good, don't need reporters making their own news, just report it.
"Would" is opinion. "Did" is fact.
Cheap shot. Irrespective if it's true or not. Reporters should have more integrity than that. But then again, that profession has gone down the drain for a long time... most of them are hacks anyways...
How did you find that ? I can't see it anywhere on its front page.
Well, umm, I searched, sorry
This is simply the result of politics by division. It's the democrat theme, and it works.
Divide the country using any means possible - money, jobs, racism - it doesn't matter.
Then this reporter says what the party wants him to believe and he gets canned for it.
Fascinating to me is the fact that many (most? all?) of you liberals here think the same thing, but only condemn him for saying it in public, not for believing it.
Romney doesn't want anyone to die as a result of a hurricane. That's complete idiocy.
I think we've agreed with that.
So much for trying to divide the country.
