??? Really? Flying into LAX is 10 times more dangerous than flying into Tel-Aviv?

Yair Lapid, in an interview with Wolf Blitzer said that. Somehow, I think most people in the world would disagree.

Who cares? They're running a propaganda campaign across all media.

You have to admit it though they do have airport security down compared to our theater.

Who cares? I think Israel cares. I think people flying to Israel care.

Metal detectors and armed guards won't stop rockets.

If you're flying to Israel and you're taking safety advice from an Israeli cabinet member on CNN, you're a ****ing idiot.

Israeli commercial jetliners have electronic countermeasures (ECM) that will stop rockets. A jetliner with... *cue Dr Evil* frickin' lasers.

    LOL

I listened to a discussion about that tech. Thought it was pretty cool. But the jets don't have that tech on board yet. I doubt most of the world will install it on their jets.

Tel-Aviv has intelligence officers, armed guards, soldiers, and undercover officers.

    LAX Has the TSA.

I live pretty close(about several plus miles) to LGA. Actually under a landing zone. Often at night, it looks like hundreds of UFOs hover above LGA.

I think Yair Lapid is right if you factor in the countless close calls at LGA. And it's also extremely easy to bypass the TSA. I've done it before and after 9/11.

Edit: Opps thought it was LGA ya'll was talking about not LAX. Changed. Pretty sure it's the same at LAX.

I figure every pilot deserves a warm meal.
