What does everyone mean with yellow screens? Does the screen look yellow when you look at the phone head on or if you look at it from a side view. When I look at my iPhone it's from the side that it looks yellow. So my question is, is that normal?

    Anyone have a answer?

Normally when you go to a photo app with white background or a blank page in safari, the screen is yellow and is off-white.

As for me when I look from the side (right/left) view, no yellow screen. Looking directly at the screen, no yellow screen, looking from both top/bottom view, no yellow screen. Therefore I have a perfect screen:D

Edit: Oh yea I did compare mine with the display models at the apple store and mine looks exactly the same as theirs. I'm still on my first iphone 4S since 10/21/11. I'm a happy camperXD

Go in too a local store, try to compare your iPhone 4S with the one in a shop. You would notice it immently.

Just got a replacement 4s last night because of some non screen related issue. While i was laying in bed i was looking at the new phone and kept thinking "ugh.... that kind of looks a little yellow" So i put it to full brightness and it didn't have that look anymore so i just decided to keep it there.

Today i decided to take it off full brightness to save battery and looked again, and i was most definitely seeing things lol

Anyways hope when you compare them it doesn't look yellow.

My suggestion would be that if it doesn't bug you now and you can't really tell, i wouldn't compare it because if it is actually a bit more yellow, you're going to be mad at yourself for pointing it out.

Does apple do replacements for this? This is a replacement phone I just got Saturday but I can't stand the yellow. I have always had my phones brightness all the way up to get the best feel for my phone.

Also while you are at the apple store, before you leave the store compare it to the one on display this way you don't have to waste time going back and forth.

Will they replace the phone even if it's yellow from looking at it from the side of the phone?

You probably won't have any chance to trade it in for a new one.

Based on my experience with the genius at the Apple store they don't consider the yellow tint of the screen to be a defect. They simply state that there is variation in every panel and some have slightly different color schemes and brightness than others.

    YMMV

I did go in today and they replaced it with another one. But it turns out the yellow on the screen is worse on the phone.

I just understand how they have every iPhone is the store and all the cariers screens perfect, but a yellow screen is suppose too be normal.
