Looks fishy...
someone will do a WHOIS on it soon tho..
It's Geohot's soon to be released app. He had the first unlock for the first iPhone... but stole it from the iPhone Dev-Team. Much like he's doing now.
ya so will it be like the ziphone? one button does all? and has all the same features etc...
comes out tuesday I think.
Not sure. I think he named it as such just because of how it could potentially be released.
guess we will find out tuesday...problem is I have not heard much on it....even though this kid knows what he is doing.
Jeez, i dont give a flying crap about the politics all these people are playing against each other, all i want is the fricken unlock asap.......
hahah I know..and the easiest way.
No new round of iPhone unlocking tools would be complete without more drama about who stole what ideas from whom, who is the real developer of the tool, and whose tool is more likely to "brick" your iPhone. It's part of the culture. Much like no new processor or architecture release can go by from Intel without large numbers of people butchering the code name into some nonsense word that sounds like a cross between a dorky magician from a fantasy novel and a villain from Voltron.![]()
Yeah, I somehow doubt Zibri will disappear. Although, he seems to respect geohot more than the others, so perhaps the two will collaborate.
I could see that happening. Zibri seems to be stumped on this one and rightfully so because he stole the damn code.
question is if this "yiphone" is the real deal you going to do it?

id personally wait for a trusted and TESTED way to do it
that means the Dev Team way BTW

wasn't it geohot who worked out how to unlock 1.1.2?
im not sure on that, but i no that ziphone can damage your ipod because it was sloppily stolen and released without testing, the DEV TEAM is the one that actually tests and works out potential bugs.
isn't he the guy who originally unlocked the Iphone?
