Got this idea from W- -W's post about his new television. Let's see your setups...
Well I don't have a camera, but my home entertainmanet setup is also my PC with an ATI AIW, SB Live!, 5.1 speakers, DVD drive, CD-RW, blah, blah, more boring computer specs, but you get the idea.
Ideally I would have a computer be just a seperate component in a setup, but I have little ca$h and little space soooooooo................
Too boring for a picture...
Well I just set up a new home theater and I did it for a little bit of nothing...
27" Tru-Flat Sylvania TV...picked up at Sears for $114.00...No kidding...$114.00! It was a return, but still had the stickers on the screen...works great!
Toshiba DVD player for $99.00
Older 4Head Hi-Fi VCR I picked up at Sears a few years back...still works nice....I think I paid about $100.00 at the time.
I have a real small house with a small living room so for sound I run everything through a pair of $99.00 Bose MediaMate speakers. Not surround sound, but the clarity is excellent, much better then TV speakers.
So let me see here...using the Calculator App.
A new home theater for $412.00
Now what else can you buy for $412.00?
Picture went all funny, mod, please delete
Sony 28" WEGA Flat screen television, Pioneer DVD player (with Multi-mod, will play just about anything from anywhere in the world), Xbox, PS2 (hidden away in the bottom right hand draw, would have done the same with the Xbox but it wouldn't fit!). Also a Sony Hi-fi not shown in the picture.
Hope at the end of this month to put my order in to replace the 28" Sony with the same Pioneer 43" plasma as W-_-W has, can't wait! I just need to get paid!!!!!
(excuse the skanky walls, in the process of decorating)
This is the main TV in our house. Its a 65" Mitsubishi Diamond Plus HDTV. We've got a Bose Acoustomass sound system, JVC Receiver, Sony DVD Player, Digital Cable, and an old Mitsubishi VCR:
Heres the power of the speakers that are all built in the house:
pretty cool stuff guys, but what kind of tv is that medea? and is that your dvd player on the bootom, it looks tiny?
well I dont have a camera to use right now, but this is what I have, just got both on christmas and both are philips, tv is flat and 20".
I have a normal apex for dvd and dont have a working vcr at the moment.

You are the man for posting your set-up -- with Hannity talking to Drudge.

They make everything, incluiding our VCR.
So far only Metroid Prime (kick ass!!!)...I'm waiting for Zelda and I'll be set.
I don't know really because you're probably going to have to find someone older like me to buy it. I'm not sure anyone appreciates rack-mounted audio equipment anymore.
