Most of the time when i tried to log into my youtube account using the native youtube app, it saids the authentication had failed.

First of all, I know i have the correct password because I can log into the account with my PC or Mac.

Second of all, there is no place for me to type the authentication code so basically youtube had blocked me from accessing the app.

Any ideas? Thanks

Yeah, that is way better than the native app. I wonder why they didnt even bother updating it! Anyways, i dont want to start another thread, is there a way to check PM or comments in youtube mobile, thanks!

couple of reasons they didnt/ couldnt update the built in app,
1. it requires a new firmware update and that is partly apples thing to do, and
2. having an app in the internet is the logical way of doing things (esp this kind of app) it means the company can easily update the client for all platforms at once, google and apple know that this will be the future for apps. - and you can make it a sudo app by creating a shortcut on your homescreen

yes you can read/write comments on vids but I dont think you can read or send your PMs
