YouTube locks up ipad

Occasionally when I used the iPad YouTube app or view embedded YouTube video if the video does not buffer quickly enough my iPad completely locks up and I have to do a hard reset (holding down the home and power button together) all other video works perfectly - has anyone else had this problem?
