I guess with CES around the corner these two companies decided to present some more details on their keyboards. However neither are available right now and look to be a couple of months out.

All of that being said, after using the iPad 11 keyboard folio case for a couple of months I’m liking it a lot more than I did at first. It is very reliable and works without failure, you just have to be careful with it since there is no side protection. I put a skin on it too, so while the material on the bottom and back of the folio is not particularly asthetic looking, that for me at least helps make it look a lot better.

From looking at the options available I would choose the space gray Brydge keyboard for $149. That being said, it will put some weight on the iPad, so for now I’ll keep using the Apple keyboard folio. Below are the links to both companies keyboard.

I like that Brydge have now included different viewing modes for watching movies, a tablet mode for drawing/writing, a connection using either Bluetooth or USB-C to charge your keyboard and type with the security of USB and lastly a magnetic cover for the back of the iPad.

Looks like Brydge's marketing dept is working overtime to get all of the tech bloggers to cover their keyboards...

One thing that never gets discussed in their reviews is what do the Brydge's clamps do to screen protectors? Tempered glass protectors might be ok, but what about the glossy and matte non-glass?

I have a Zagg keyboard for my iPad Mini and I absolutely hate it. The iPad is either so loose that it falls out when you adjust the angle, or is so tight that it distorts the screen when you touch it. I'm sure they've improved over the years but this being my only experience with their products has left me a little wary of their stuff going forward.
